I lead SRE for enterprise AI platforms at Merck — keeping GenAI systems running at scale across three clouds. When I'm not fighting incidents, I'm in the garden.
About
Austin native.
Built on hardware.
Born in NJ, raised in Austin — dual US & British citizen. Moved to LA to run a computer repair shop, came back home. Now I lead SRE for enterprise AI platforms at Merck. When I'm not keeping systems running, I'm on the court or in the garden.

Things I've built.
Away from the keyboard
The garden.
Landscaping and growing things is where I spend most of my time off the clock. Best possible counterweight to distributed systems.
Vegetable beds
Year-round growing in Central Texas — peppers, tomatoes, squash, herbs. Learning the soil more every season.
Native landscaping
Replacing turf with drought-tolerant natives. Better for the ecosystem, better for the water bill, and honestly better looking.
Propagation
There's something satisfying about turning one plant into ten. It's basically infrastructure as code, but for succulents.
